Stand Up Paddle Boards
Tula has boards ranging from 9'0" - 11'0" to accommodate paddlers from 60lbs to 260lbs. They all have soft traction decks for maximum safety, grip and convenience. The bottoms are all built with durability and speed in mind. They are very light weight for their size and manageable by an individual so don't fear the solo missions!!
All rental boards come with a coil 10' leash and roofracks for transport.

Paddles
All our paddles are carbon fibre and come in many different lengths to accommodate your height for maximum performance. Carbon fibre means that they are super lightweight which makes not only the transport of it easier but will greatly reduce the effort in paddling.
Wetsuits and Booties
Most paddles only require you to need boots during the summer months. Should you choose to wear a wetsuit, we have a great assortment of wetsuits and booties from Xcel, Oneill, Roxy and Quiksilver.
Depending on where you plan to go paddle boarding, you can decide on a 5/4/3mm suit, a 5/4mm suit or a 4/3mm suit. Our experienced staff will help you to decide on the suit and gear best for your adventure.
Lessons
Explore the West Coast's marine life from the best vantage point possible, atop your Stand Up Paddle Board. The West Coast has an abundance of beautiful waterways, from the majestic Pacific Ocean to it's many surrounding lakes. One of the most remarkable things about paddle boarding is how much you can see from a few feet above the water line," better than a kayak or motorboat."
2 Hr Harbor Lesson
This 2 hour lesson takes place in the Ucluelet Harbor and will teach you basic ocean safety, how to balance on the board and use various paddle techniques to get around and explore the lakes and ocean. Common sightings: Black Bears, Bald Eagles, Sea Lions, Otters and hundreds of different sea creatures from Mussels to Starfish. Lesson Price: $79 Includes: 2hrs guidance and instruction and all necessary technical gear. Must bring: bathing suit, towel, water, warm clothes for after and a smile Bonus things to bring: waterproof camera, waist pouch for water and/or camera, sunglasses with float or strap, sunhat(will get wet), snacks. |
2 Hr Little Beach Lesson
A spectacular tour from Little Beach to Terrace Beach will teach you basic ocean safety, how to balance on the board and use various paddle techniques to get around and explore the lakes and ocean. This tour is more exposed to the open ocean and offers many wonders of the sea. A vast array of sea life will be encountered and there is always the chance of seeing some whales spouting offshore at certain times of year. 2 Hr Kennedy Lake Lesson
Kennedy lake is an amazing place to be any time of year but most of all during the warm summer months. Paddle 'wetsuit free' from June to mid September and explore the beautiful shoreline of this uninhabited lake. A Kennedy lake tour will teach you basic water safety and give you confidence on your paddle board without the currents or waves sometimes experienced in the ocean.
